What can SCATS do for You?

SCATS – the Safety Consultation and Training Section – has been a partner with Nevada businesses since 1991.
Like the name implies, SCATS helps Nevada employers and employees create and maintain a safe and healthy workplace.

SCATS is part of the Nevada Department of Business and Industry, Division of Industrial Relations. SCATS
focuses on three areas of free services available to help Nevada employers and employees.

First, SCATS provides high-quality safety and health consultation services focusing on the prevention
of injuries and illness.

Additionally, SCATS offers formal training to provide employers and employees with the knowledge and skills
to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

Finally, SCATS serves as an informational resource for employers and employees.
